🏛 Federal Apostille Courier Runs — DC Department of State

We make courier runs to the U.S. Department of State Office of Authentications in DC for FBI background checks, federal agency records, and other documents requiring federal apostille or authentication. You don't need to make the trip yourself.

FBI background checks are federal documents and do not go through the Maryland apostille process. They must be submitted through the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC for federal apostille or authentication.

We help clients order, review, and process FBI background checks for apostille when needed for residency, work, visas, citizenship, immigration, overseas employment, adoption, or other international requirements. If you already have your FBI background check PDF, you can upload it through our secure order form so we can review it and begin the federal apostille process.

📄 DC Apostille & DC Notary Documents

Some documents issued or notarized in Washington, DC may need to go through the DC apostille process instead of the federal apostille process. This may include DC birth certificates, DC marriage certificates, DC death certificates, DC divorce records, DC court records, and documents notarized by a DC notary.

If your document needs a DC notary, we can help review the document and coordinate next steps. Please note: DC notarization would be handled by a qualified third-party DC notary, not directly by Maryland Mobile Notary Express.
